10/8/2019 9:12:10 PM

Early Times Report

Jammu, Oct 8: Young Lawyers Association J&K High Court Jammu expressed serious concern over increasing problems of parking in the High Court premises.
Members of Association said parking congestion at District and Sessions Court, Jammu is being faced by the advocates practicing regularly at the court. The situation is bad even than the worst as the vehicles are being parked by each and every person visiting at District and Sessions Court, Jammu for any type of work and the pertinent thing to mention here is that the parking outside the District and Sessions Court, Jammu is exclusively for Judges, worthy advocates and employees of District and Sessions Court, Jammu. The parking for common masses is behind the office of worthy Advocate General near J&K High Court, Jammu.
They said that there are some civil persons deployed by the contractor to whom parking contract has been allotted by J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu, and their job is to stop and halt the common masses from parking their vehicles at District and Sessions Court, Jammu but there am several mischievous people inside the crowd who argue and even scuffle with those civil persons from pursuing their duties, which demoralizes them from performing their duties and finally results in uneven, haphazard and undisciplined parking of vehicles outside the premises of District and Sessions Court, Jammu. They demanded deployment of 5 to 7 police personnel at District and Sessions Court, Jammu from court timings to help and assist the above mentioned persons in maintaining the discipline of parking and it is further requested to your good selves to book the mischievous persons who argue and scuffle for parking their vehicles illegally outside the premises of District and Sessions Court, Jammu which is not actually for them.
