APMCC chairman felicitated for his work | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 13: All Parties Migrants Coordination Committee (APMCC) Chairman Vinod Pandit was felicitated by a renowned organization of South India during his visit recently where the pioneering work of APMCC was highly appreciated by the prominent people of South India at Bangaluru, Karnataka. APMCC Chairman was felicitated at a function organized by Adamya Chetana, a voluntary organisation working in the field of social development set up in the memory of Girija Shastry, mother of Late AnanthKumar, the then Union Cabinet Minister and MP from Bangalore (South), where the veteran social activist and chairperson of Adamya Chetna Dr Tejasvini Anant Kumar presented him with a souvenir as a token of love and appreciation to Vinod Pandit. According to statement issued by National Spokesperson King C Bharati, Vinod Pandit also visited the mid day meal facility of the trust where more than 1, 50,000 school children are provided meals every day. Dr Tejasvini while appreciating the work done by Vinod Pandit and Team APMCC for the reopening of The holy Shardha Peetha at Shardi Village in Muzaffarabad and other issues on ground zero in Kashmir for the past more than two decades said that such work was an eye opener for the people of South India who also worship Godess Shardha and want to visit the original Peetha someday. |
