Ex babu to 'disband' his party after former JNU leader parts ways with him
10/13/2019 11:40:19 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Oct 13: A political party that was floated by a former IAS officer earlier this year is likely to be "disbanded" in the coming days as one of his key colleagues in the party has already called it a day.
A former leader of the Jawahar Lal Nehru University quit the party floated in Kashmir, allegedly due to strained relations with the party founder.
Sources said the former student leader, who is also an activist, was not happy with the party founder since the day FIR was filed against her for writing tweets that had accused the Indian Army.
Sources said she was expecting that her party especially its founder, a former IAS officer and the party cadres would come to her rescue, something which didn't happen. "No one came to her rescue and this was what pinched her the most," said a party insider on the condition of anonymity.
Sources said former JNU leader was also not happy with the working of the party since the abrogation of Article 370 on August 5.
"There were lot of problems within the party and she finally decided to call it a day," said a source.
It is pertinent to mention that the former student leader had accused the Army of torturing youth, following which an FIR was filed by the Delhi Police.
The party founder on the other hand, is understood to be fed up of politics and has decided to call it a day. He is likely to announce his decision soon.
The student leader, who was previously preaching communist ideology, had been talking about religious beliefs since she had joined the party floated earlier this year in Kashmir.
The student leader, however, had been putting up in New Delhi for most of the time since the revocation of the special status of Jammu and Kashmir on August 5. "She avoided staying back in Kashmir as there was no internet working," said the insiders. Despite repeated attempts the politician duo in question couldn't be contacted for comments.
