DODA, Oct 15: A meeting of all ROs, ARO's, Nodal Officers, Zonal and Sectoral Magistrates was today convened under the chairmanship of District Panchayat Election Officer, Dr Sagar D Doifode.
The meeting had a detailed review of preparations being put in place for BDC polls scheduled to be held in the district on October 24, 2019.
Threadbare discussion was held in the meeting regarding ballot papers, security, transport arrangements and other basic facilities in polling stations including drinking water, power supply, sanitation etc.
DPEO asked the concerned officers to ensure strict implementation of guidelines of Model Code of Conduct. He asked the ROs to keep close monitoring in their respective blocks regarding expenditure monitoring. He also asked them to immediately communicate the concerned Nodal Officer of expenditure or Observer regarding conduct of any rally or Sabha by the contesting candidates.
The meeting was attended by ADDC, District Deputy Election Officer, ACD, SDM Gandoh and Thathri, District Panchayat Officer, Observers, ROs, AROs, Sectoral and Zonal magistrates and Nodal Officers. |
