Jammu, Nov 1: Delhi Public School, Jammu excelled in District Badminton Championship organized by District Administration Jammu under the banner of Khelo India phase-III Competition (2019-20) held at Police Lines Badminton Hall, Jammu from 21-25 October, 2019. The details of the students are as under Krishika Mahajan (VIII-F) - Gold medal, Shambhavi Rajput (VI-K) - Gold medal, Shreya Gupta (VI-B) - Bronze medal, Udayan Sharma (VI-D) - 2 Silver medals, Sparsh Katoch (VIII-B) - Silver medal, Charvi Arora (X-C) - 1 Silver & 1 Bronze medal, Ritika Rana (IX-D) - Silver medal. While, Preeti Gupta, Coach also won gold medal in Mixed Doubles in Veteran Category. All the winners were felicitated with Merit Certificates and medals of achievements by D.C Jammu, Sushma Chauhan in a glittering prize distribution ceremony, held on 25th Oct. 2019 at Police Lines Badminton Hall, Jammu. Principal, DPS Jammu, Ruchi Chabra congratulated the winners and their coach, Preeti Gupta and thanked D.C Jammu for the encouragement given to the students & staff of the school. Headmistress, Meenu Gupta was also present on the occasion. |
