| DPS Nagbani holds Roll ball matches | | |

Jammu, Nov 1: Delhi Public School Nagbani, Jammu-(West) organized an Inter-House Roll ball championship in the school.
The game consists of two teams of six players each, five field players and a goal keeper. Players move towards the goal while passing on drabbing the ball similar to a basket ball, with the aim of throwing the ball into a goal post at each end of the court. The team that is able to score more goals wins the game. The school skating ground was resonating with the sounds of skates and bouncing balls as the players were eager to show their skating speed and the skills of passing the ball at once. Despite it being a new sport the players in the competition gave an outstanding performance. Jhelum house won the Roll Ball Competition. The Principal of the school R. K. Verma said that the aim of the competition is to instil the spirit of sportsmanship into the minds of the students keeping the sentiment of success alive in their hearts. |
