| Udhampur admin braces up for implementation of Project Jeevika | | |
UDHAMPUR, Nov 8: For effective implementation of Jal Shakti Abhiyan in the district, Additional District Development Commissioner Udhampur Ashok Kumar today chaired meeting with officers of concerned departments to work out the modalities for implementation of project Jeevika.
Pertinent to mention here that Project Jeevika has been conceptualized by District Development Commissioner Udhampur Dr. Piyush Singla in which water harvesting tanks will be constructed in all Panchays at of district Udhampur.
Agriculture Department has been designated as nodal department and 840 ponds will be constructed in convergence with MGNREGA in all panchayats of district. |
