| Farmers appeal administration to access crop losses due to rains | | |  Early Times Report
Vijaypur, Nov 8: Farmers of Vijaypur have appealed Lieutenant Governor to issue directions to access the losses of Kharief crop due to incessant rains and thunderstorm previous day.
The kharief crops, mostly the paddy crop's harvesting season was at its peak but the thunderstorm and rains of previous day have wreak havoc, destroying the crops.
The farmers are feeling hapless as many farmers have sown the khrief crops after securing loan from the banks/financial institutions.
The farmers are urging to Lieutenant Governor to issue the directions to the administrative officers to take access regarding the loss caused to the farmers & provide compensation to the affected farmers at par the compensation provided to farmers in Kashmir region. |
