Situation in Kashmir reviewed by Amit Shah | | | The Indian Home Minister, Amit Shah, had a detailed meeting with top security officials to know the exact situation in the Kashmir valley. The meeting was held in the backdrop of the preparations being made by the Kashmir centric political leaders to derail peace in Kashmir. Their argument is that the Centre should restore Article. 370 and 35-A and without that they will not sit silent Amit Shah held a meeting with top security officials and discussed the prevailing situation in the state, officials said.. Since the situation remains disturbed and one has expectedly deal with the series of incidents of violence when mainstream political leaders were getting ready to fight for the restoration of the special status. The hour-long meeting was attended by National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Union Home Secretary Rajiv Gauba and other senior officials. Following the deployment of additional troops and other steps, there have been rumours that the Centre may have plan to do away with Article 35A, which gives exclusive rights to the state's residents in government jobs and lit is an old story Well it is an old story since then upper House has been abolished and the polls fort the Assembly elections may not be held by the end of this years. And the mainstream political leaders wish to alllow the Assembly elections to be held so that they regain power which they may exploit to the determent of the central Government and for the people who expect millionm of jobs and this would take a turn when the indusial units set up industries and besides the central Government plans to spend crores of rupees on the development of roads and canals which may together offer new jobs to the uneducated youth. |
