5th to 9th class exams begin today | CEO Srinagar conducts inspection of several examination centres | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, Nov 16: The examinations for 5th to 9th standard begun here today, officials of Department of Education said. In this context, Chief Education Officer Srinagar, Malik Naseer visited various examination centres in far flung areas of Srinagar district including Gulabagh, Hazratbal, Harwan, Tailbal and Rainawari. He interacted with students and took stock of the various facilities being provided to them. During his visit to these centres, CEO stressed upon the examination staff to maintain discipline in the examination centres and also provide a cordial atmosphere to the students. Malik Naseer informed said that 68 centres have been established in the district for about 13000 students appearing in 8th and 9th class examinations. He said that more than 5000 students are appearing for 5th, 6th and 7th class examination. He said that for the smooth conduct of examination about 2700 examination staff members have been deployed. |
