| Mom beats daughter mercilessly, Dad captures video, circulates shocking footage on social media | | Parental Ignominy | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 16: A horrific incident of violence against a two years old girl child appeared today in Kathua, in which a mother seen ruthlessly beating her daughter, while father was filming the incident.
However, Kathua Police has registered a case against the mother, and the father of girl has also been detained for capturing and sharing video of the incident and revealing the identity of the victim.
"Jyoti Devi wife of Krishan Lal has been booked under FIR 353/2019 under section 75 Juvenile Justice Act (JJA) at Police Station Kathua, for beating her daughter", a senior officer said, adding that the maternal parents of the girl child have been made her custodian. Investigation into the case has begun, it has been learnt that parents of the girl has marital dispute. |
