| PEECC appeals govt to regularize daily wagers | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 16: All J&K Power Employees And Engineers Coordination Committee (PEECC) has urged upon government to regularize the daily wagers who have been awaiting regularization since so many years.
A meeting in this regard was held today in which the members discussed several of their demands. They argued that the Government has operationalized the unbundling without resolving the basic issues of the employee cadres and there is a complete uncertainty prevailing among the employees.
There has been no SRO issued putting into public domain the new organization structure and the powers exercised by various officers.
It's unfortunate that poor dail wagers have to move from pillar to post to seek their regularization and leading to unrest among the employees. Moreover Government should clear the broader issues that have arisen out of the unilateral action of unbundling by bringing out a white paper on the way ahead, they said.
The Government should create the posts, conduct Department Promotion Committee meetings for creating promotion avenues across length and breadth of department, and reorganize the department in real sense.
