| LD recommends action against Pvt companies for violation of Labour Laws | | |

UDHAMPUR, Nov 18: The Labour Department has recommended immediate withholding of all payments to M/S ELSAMEX Company and M/S ABN Personnel Network for their failure towards resolving labour disputes and violation of labour welfare laws.
In this regard, Assistant Labour Commissioner, Dr. Ranjeet Singh has sent a written communication to the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) recommending withholding of payments to these defaulter companies.
Pertinently, ALC conducted a thorough enquiry into the allegations levelled by labourer at Chaneni-Nashri tunnel against M/S ELSAMEX Company and M/S ABN Personnel Network and found the companies violating labour welfare laws.
Further, the ALC has also asked the Regional Labour Enforcement Officer to look into the grievances of labourers engaged by M/S ELSAMEX Company and M/S ABN Personnel Network for immediate redressal. |
