President’s rule in J&K has added confusion, anarchy: Bhim Singh | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 24: The President's Rule has added to the confusion, anarchy and the people in Jammu & Kashmir have lost faith in the governance because there is no appropriate advice or check on the working of unguided bureaucracy which has demolished the political apparatus in the State". This was statement sent by Prof. Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of J&K National Panthers Party to the President of India, Ramnath Kovind who is governing the State under President's Rule. JKNPP Supremo held in urgent meeting with the leadership of the Panthers Party to work out a way so that political faith could be revived among the people of Jammu Province as well as Kashmir Ghati which is called now as a Union Territory. NPP Supremo urged the President in a letter addressed to him from Jammu to intervene so that political process in the State shall not be demolished as is being done by the bureaucracy today. He urged the President to revive the political process in the State i.e. Jammu & Kashmir that is possible only a political process is not demolished. President's Rule does not provide for demolishing the political parties or suppressing/arresting/detaining the political leaders of opposition other than RSS affiliated groups. He appealed the President to issue strong direction to L.G. J&K to release all political workers/leaders so that the political process in the State does not meet total disaster. |
