Ex-CPFWA demands benefits at par with armed forces under MoD | | | Early Times Report RS PURA, Nov 24: The Ex-Central Paramilitary Forces Welfare Association (CPFWA) RS Pura Jammu convened a meeting today at RS Pura which was held under General Secretary of Association DK Chouhan wherein all the members of Association were present. During the meeting several points were discussed threadbare. Speaking on the occasion, Chouhan demanded grant of benefits and concession extended to Armed Force under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on the pattern of Armed Forces under Ministry of Defence (MoD) who are fighting enemy and sacrificing with the same vigour, valour and patriotism and also suffer consequences like Defence force but the benefits and concessions have not been extended to Armed Force working under MHA which is against the law and the ethics of natural justice. Adding further he said that the service condition of para military forces is strong set of Acts with the provision to award punishment up to the Court marital similar to Defence force but unfortunately their pay and perks and post-retirement benefits including pension are governed by CCS( Pension rule 1972) provided the benefits only equal to central govt civilian employees and even members, widows and dependents of the para military forces who are deprived in front of their fellow citizens and family members while they are exposed to risk pattern as defence forces. Chouhan further demanded that pension scheme should be implemented to the para military personnel who have been appointed after 2004 on the same lines which have been adopted for the armed forces of MoD. |
