Jammu, Nov 24: An unidentified person reportedly fired at a brick kilns in Jindrah area under the jurisdiction of Jhajjar Kotli Police, sources said.
According to sources after the news of incident spread, a police team headed by SDPO Nagrota Mohan Lal and SHO Jhajjar Kotli Rakesh Khajuria visited the spot. "A case in this regard has been registered at Police Station Jhajjar Kotli", sources said, adding that the as per statement of staff present when the incident took place at the brick kiln, in wee hours this morning a masked man knocked at door of residential area within the premises of the brick kiln.
"I opened the door, the masked man with a Katta and sickle, entered the room and latter he ran away after firing round in air.
"Police is working on various aspects, and the investigation into the case has begun under Armed Act and attempt to Robbery", they said. |
