Srinagar, Nov 24: In an attempt to clean his dent after allegations of corruption and nepotism caught public's attention, SHO posted in Jammu planted a property-dealer to appreciate his non-existing achievements.
Sources said that the Police Officer, who had in past been in controversies, and now after his failure to serve the purpose of his posting as an SHO, the locals raised voice for his failure to curb crimes in his area, especially drug menace, the smart SHO over-played the public's effort to expose his failure.
"A property dealer who recently struck a deal with the SHO who recovered his money to the tune of over Rs one crore, jumped in the arena to be an honest officer in Police Department", they said, adding that however the property-dealer could not do much in his campaign for SHO's honesty.
"Entire the department is aware of the inefficiency of SHO, since the system in J&K has changed, top officers are trying to save his job", they said. |
