GCS organized candle march, demands justice for Dr Priyanka

Jammu, 2 Dec: Anger among the people of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir too brewing against the brutal murder and rape of Dr Priyanka Reddy of Hyderabad. Gramin Civil Society members organized a candle march for seeking justice in favour of Dr Prayanka Reddy at Bantalab Chowk today. Large number of people of Bantalab, Raipur area assembled at Bantalab Chowk and organized a candle march under the banner of Gramin Civil Soceity. Civil society member pay homage to Dr Priyanka Reddy brutally murdered and raped by miscreants at Hyderabad. GCS members also seek fast track trial and earlier justice in her favour. While addressing the society members, Gramin Civil Society president Shakti Dutt Sharma said its unfortunate that after Nirbhaya case incidents of rape and murder still continues and needs stringent laws to deal with people of such mind sets. Dr Reddy's murder and rape has again raised concerned of people having daughters particularly those getting education and working women.
He asked the civil society members to remain vigilant people having criminal mindset and capital punishment should be awarded by executing fast track trial. A message should be given that law enforcement agencies will deal such persons with iron hands. On this occasion JMC corporator Kuldip Singh Chib, Rash Pal Singh Gen Sec. GCS, Rajat Kesar, Parbakhar Khajuria, Sunil Dutt Raka, Sahil Seth etc were present.
