Rajouri, Dec 10: The unauthorised absence teachers working government schools in remote areas of Rajouri district has been badly impacting the studies of students as around five teachers out of seven in Government Middle Schools Rajdhani of Manjakote block were seen on unauthorised absence. Sources told Early Times that today in Government Middle School Rajdhani in Manjakote block of district Rajouri, it was witnessed that majority of the teachers were on unauthorised absence and the school was closed at 2.30 PM instead of its official closing time of 4PM. The locals of the area strongly protested against this attitude of the school and told Early Times the teachers in the school remain absent, which adversely affects the study of students. The school being in remote areas, the teachers in majority of the school hardly attend their duty and remain on unauthorised leave. When ET correspondent visited the school, only two teachers including Incharge Ramesh Chander, and Abdul Ganai were present while rest of teachers were on unauthorised leave. |
