Teachers, students of govt schools visit APS | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 10: A visit of government school teachers and students to Army Public School Senior Wing Udhampur was organised by Army to enhance the general awareness and overall educational outlook of the students. Eight teachers and fifty students from Government Middle School Garnai and Government Middle School Bashorian visited APS Udhampur. The visit was conducted by Reena Sharma vice Principal of APS Udhampur and visiting teachers and students were shown well equipped Science and the computer labs and were briefed by the teachers from the APS Udhampur in a well professional manner. The students from the Government Schools were made to sit in the classes among the APS students and then classes were conducted using the modern teaching techniques through audio visual teaching aids. The students were also shown well established school library and concept of e-reading was taught to the students using KIOS. The visiting teachers and children were happy to go through well established educational environments. This visit was also fruitful for the teachers from Government school to improve the existing educational set up in their respective schools. The Principal of Army Public School Udhampur Sanjeev Kumar was personally involved during the visit and also organised refreshment for visiting teachers and students. The overall visit to Army Public School Udhampur was conceptualised and coordinated by Col Balwant Singh who also belongs to village Garnai of District Udhampur and an ex student of Government Higher Secondary School Garhi, Udhampur. |
