| KC college celebrates HR day | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 10: NSS unit of KC College of Education celebrated Human Rights day, to honour the United Nation General Assembly's adoption and proclamation of the UDHR, the first global enactment for human rights.
On this occasion, NSS volunteers took an impressive awareness rally in the slum area of the village, Udheywala. They made the villagers aware about their rights and duties incorporated in Indian constitution.
A Nukkad Natak was also performed by NSS volunteers where they conveyed the message that rights and duties are supplementary and complementary to each other.
They were also told that they have to perform certain duties for the sake of society at the cost of their rights. Dr. Sanjay Tickoo, Principal of the college appreciated the efforts of the students and asked them to always come forward for such social issues. |
