Early Times Report Kishtwar, Dec 19: To control the unreasonable rise in prices of essential commodities, Deputy Commissioner (District Magistrate) Kishtwar, Angrez Singh Rana chaired a meeting of concerned officers besides mutton, chicken and milk products seller, traders of Kishtwar regarding fixation and strict enforcement of rates of mutton, chicken, eggs and other commodities. ADDC Kishtwar, Mohd Hanief Maik, Assistant Director FCS &CA, Ghulam Rasool, Chief Animal Husbandry Oficer, Dr. Sanjay Kumar Sen, Tehsildar Kishtwar, Parmod Kumar, TSO Kishtwar, Food Safety Officer, Kishtwar, Naib Tehsildars, Sanitary Inspector besides concerned officers and traders attended the meeting. After discussions, verification of rates and assessment of transportation charges, transit weight loss and profit margins, the commitee headed by DC Kishtwar approved the rate of Mutton including Mutton Safi Rs. 350 per kg, Ojri Rs 180 per kg, Head/Siri Rs. 150 per kg, Legs/Kharooda Rs. 200 per kg. In the category of Chicken the rates fixed for broiler chicken above 1.5 kg live including dressing Rs 120 per kg, Broiler chicken dressed ready for cook Rs 200 per kg, Broiler chicken live less than 1.5 kg including dressing Rs 140 per kg, Eggs per dozen Rs 70 besides in the category of milk and milk products the rates fixed for milk at Rs. 40/ltr, Curd (Dahi) at Rs. 45/ltr. Cheese (Paneer) at Rs. 260/kg. It is pertinent to mention here that the said rates are applicable within the jurisdiction of district Kishtwar w.e.f 18.12.2019. |
