Jammu, Dec 19: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) conducted a meeting of Block Development Committee (BDC) Chairpersons at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
BJP State President Ravinder Raina chaired the meeting, while he was also accompanied by party State General Secretaries Yudhvir Sethi and Sunil Sharma, Baramullah District President Desh Nehru, senior leader Mohd. Iqbal Malik, while interacting with the newly elected Chairpersons of BDCs. Chairpersons, were prompted to share their issues and difficulties, discussed various issues with the party leadership. Senior party leadership assured them that their all issues will be promptly looked into and they will be given all assistance from the organization side in their political and social endeavours for promoting development in their respective areas. They told their issues about the Security issues, issues related to Constituency Development Funds (CDF), Cooperation with the administration. Ravinder Raina, while addressing the BDC Chairpersons, asked them to be part of development revolution and said that the onus to address every public issue in far flung areas lies on their shoulders. He said that they have put lots of efforts for achieving this feast and now they have to fulfil public and party expectations with a revolutionary mindset. Raina, termed them as face of BJP now and they have to manage the coordination with public, administration, party activists, Sarpanchs and Panchs in their respective areas. |
