| BMS delegation calls on Com/ Secy Labour Deptt | | |

Jammu, Dec 19: A delegation of Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) today called on Commissioner Secretary Labour and Employment Department and submitted a memorandum of demands. According to press release, the deputation members demanded implementation of central rates of minimum wages at par with U.T and also apprised that since Govt has implemented central pay scales to all the Govt employees with great fun & fare with the plea that Jammu and Kashmir has become Union Territory (U.T) but it is strange that Minimum wages notification has not been issued so for and thousands of workers working in the private and Public sector daily wagers are waiting for issuance of notification for revised rates of minimum wages the secretary labour assured that govt is working on this and in near feature this will be implemented. |
