Srinagar, Dec 19: Sanidhya Hurkat scored a brilliant century on day one against the tour team Jammu and Kashmir as Chhattisgarh scored 293 for the loss of 6 wickets on day 1. Earlier in the day, Chhattisgarh won the toss and opted to bat. Sanidhya Hurkat was on the top from the first ball scoring all over the park. He faced 299 balls and remained 136 runs not out on the first day's play. Every batsman contributed to the team's total tally of 293 runs. Pandey scored 17, P M Yadav scored 31 runs, Desai 17, Rao 39, Harsh Sharma 7 runs and Vikas Sharma scored 30 odd runs. Ashish Pandey was first to go on 41 runs, P M Yadav was next to go on 89 followed by Sanjeet Desai on 132. A G Rao lost the wicket on 203 runs, Harsh Sharma on 227 runs, and G Satya Vikas Sharma on 278. For Jammu and Kashmir, Lone Nasir Muzaffar, Saksham Sharma, Sunil Kumar, Taizeem Younis Tak and Sahil Lotra took one wicket each. |
