Jammu, Dec 19: District Administration, Jammu in collaboration with Department of Youth Services and Sports and District Police Administration organised Sports activities for Peace and Development under "Khelo India"- Phase - III.
The phase-III of Khelo India is a centrally sponsored scheme, Govt. of India for Students/Non-Students under 17 & 19 yrs for Boys, Girls, Men and Women in Athletics.
The competitions are organised under the patronage of Dr. Saleem-ur-Rehman, Worthy Director General, Youth Services & Sports J&K, Jammu and under the supervision of Madan Lal, Joint Director, Youth Services & Sports Jammu whereas Sukhdev Raj Sharma, District Youth Services & Sports officer Jammu, was the Organising Secretary of this Mega Event.
The Chief Guest, Jasmeet Singh, KAS, Assistant Commissioner Nazool, Jammu, inaugurates today's programme.
Sukhdev Raj Sharma, DYSSO Jammu was the Guest of Honour to the Chief Guest.
The ZPEO's of District Jammu and other technical officials, officials of the department were present during the inaugural function. While organizing the said tournament under the age group of U/19 & 17 yrs Boys & Girls, (seniors) Men & Women, the Chief Guest wished all the best to all the participants during the competitions. The certificates were distributed among the winners at the venue. |
