Deputing Sr. officers of CBI, ED & ACB from Delhi an eye wash: AAP | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 22: The J&K Aam Aadmi Party in a meeting held here under the chairmanship of Founder & National Council Member, S. Deep Singh, apropos to the news item published here in various sections of press, titled "Senior officers of CBI, ED, & ACB being deputed to J&K to help curb corruption", expressed great surprise over the double speak of UT administration of Jammu & Kashmir regarding curbing of corruption here. The press handout reminded the public about the statement of the then Governor S.P. Malik about 562 backdoor appointments in J&K Bank ignoring the claims of highly meritorious youths of the state during BJP-PDP coalition government. They said instead of making tall claims about laying iron hands on corruption here, the UT administration should make a beginning from home and start investigation so that delinquents are brought to book giving a clear message of transparency and accountability to the people under present dispensation otherwise it will be presumed that there is no difference between the past corrupt system & the present one under central command. The release further said that fate of much hyped scandal in Roshni Act is known to the world wherein big fishes, be it big revenue, Police officers and politicians of various hues are involved and whose cases are gaioning dust in the rakes of administrative officers. They appealed to start investigation in to these scandals of huge magnitude so that lost faith of common man is restored. |
