Jammu, Dec 22: In two different incidents a tyre shop in Dogra Chowk reportedly due to short circuit and in Javed Nagar area 6 Kullas for Cattles reduced into ashes.
According to sources, the Yokohama tyre shop situated near city square gutted into a fire broke out due to the alleged short circuit. "In the incident tyres and other material stored in the shop worth Rs 60 lacs has been destroyed", they said, adding that Police have registered a case in this regard and investigation has been started to ascertain the exact reasons for the fire.
Meanwhile, in another fire incident last night in Javed Nagar near Nikki Tawi area several Kullas (temporary shed) of Gujjars were gutted. "In the fire over one dozen cattle died of fire, however, no loss of life has been reported", sources said. |
