KPS highlights issues | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 23: In an emergency meeting held by the President Kashmiri Pandit Sabha, Ambphalla, Jammu today members raised their concern about the violence raised by forces inimical to sovereignty of India against the NRC and Citizenship bill passed by the Indian parliament. Political battles lost in parliament are being brought to streets invoking citizens to violence across India on fake narrative. President Khosa said that political parties who hardly Voice their concern for lakhs of Hindu Refugees from Kashmir languishing across Globe are very much Concerned about vote bank politics causing fear psychology amongst Muslims. They are not ashamed for having failed to rehabilitate Kashmiri Pandits back in their motherland for last 30 years but raise voice for vote bank politics. There is least concern shown by secular politicians for Kashmiri Hindus perhaps for being a Non-Muslim minority having no vote bank. Khosa said that politicians should not project wrong narrative at the cost of national security. The same attitude of such politicians was evident after abrogation of Article 370 which gave a tool to Pakistan to abuse India. I appeal all political parties to desist from national abuse to score political points. Ashok Braroo speaking on the occasion castigated the forces trying to destabilize India for political gains. Members voiced their concern about the violence and appealed to all citizens to maintain calm and peace and try to understand the provisions of the Bill. |
