Five youth of south Kashmir handed over to families by police | Youth took help of Oxford School Atlas for exfilitration | | S Tahir-ul Haq Early Times Report Baramulla, Dec 23: Baramulla police handed over five youth to their parents today who had tried to exfilitrate to the other side of LoC in north Kashmir's Baramulla district on Dec 20th. In a press conference, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Baramulla, Abdul Qayoom said that, Five youth of Pulwama district of South Kashmir had come across to Baramulla district so that they can exfilitrate the border with the help of , 'Oxford School Atlas' which they had carried with them. They were motivated and guided by the main conspirator namely Nouman from South Kashmir, said SSP Baramulla. He further said that the youth are aging between 14-19 years who are studying in class 10th and 12th classes and among them Tajamul Islam who is of 19 years and guided them in this process. SSP further impressed that it is the responsibility of parents to take care of their wards and keep an eye on the movement of their children so that they will not adopt a wrong path in future. "Keeping in view the future of these youth we are handing over them to their parents as we have also counselled them in a proper way",SSP informed the media persons. He also said that yet we have not registered any case against these youth and on moral grounds we want them to shun the path of violence and concentrate on their future. |
