| Awareness camp on Save water held | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 23: National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of K.C.Gurukul College of Education organizes "AWARENESS CAMP" on the topic "Save Water" in the, slum area of Muthi Camp on Monday dated. 23.12.2019. The main objective of this campaign is to increase awareness about the scarcity of clean water. Through this campaign consumer can learn how to save water and use the water properly. -A NUKKAD show was also performed by the NSS Volunteers where they made the people aware about the importance of water. They told them about some steps to utilize water in the best way like rain harvesting.
By seeing unhygienic conditions they also made them aware about the diseases like Malaria, Typhoid, Diarrhea, Dengue etc. and also told them some preventive measures to protect themselves from the infectious diseases and NSS Volunteers suggests them to wear full sleeves shirts and always drink boiled water.
Anubha Munshi, Principal of the college, appreciated the efforts of the students and encouraged them to always come forward for organizing such types of camps.
