Jammu, Dec 23: A joint meeting of Kashmiri Khatri Hindu Maha Sabha , Kashmiri Khatri Yuvak Sabha and Displaced Kashmiri unemployed Youths Union was held at Bohri Jammu here today under the chairmanship of its President Er Ramesh Chander Mahajan. In the meeting various burning problem related to Kashmiri migrants community were thread bare discussed and large members from all walks of Camps and non camps migrants also projected demands are as under.
Enhancement of monthly relief with free medical aid, Immediate rvocation of biased transfer policy forced/binding on migrants employee, Demands to confer pending Promotional benefits in lieu of Migrant employees who are rendered long service on same post under PM Package and entitled for time bond promotions and Immediate absorbed those candidates who are already in the waiting list of PM Package, An appeal was made to Govt to consolidate all details of migrants properties and collect data for assessment of losses caused due to demolished, damaged by floods and snowfall, devastated of commercials goods of traders and dilapidated condition of houses, tress, agriculture land and other properties since 1990 and Most of migrants properties are encroached by social anti element and Many place migrants have entered unnecessary legal battles with encroachers for restoration of their properties also be consider in assessment of losses and the encroacher must be liable to pay all rents or all losses charges of looted and demolished properties of migrants since 1990. Release of ex gratia and compensation. |
