| Advocate Asif Runyal elected president BAR | | | Early Times Report
RAMBAN, Dec 28: The Bar Association Ramban (BAR) today held election during which advocate Asif Runyal was elected as president, while advocate Kulvinder Singh was appointed as vice-president.
The election started at 11 am at Bar Association office Ramban. For the post of Bar president, advocate Asif Runyal defeated advocate Bilbeer Singh Bali by the margin of 19 votes with thumping majority. As figures provided by election officer Advocate Asif Runyal seucred 31 votes where as Balbeer Singh Bali got 12 votes of 43 polled votes.
Other office bearers who were elected un opposed Advocate Kulvinder Singh Sumbria Vice President, Advocate Sajjid Sehmat General Secretary. Advocate Sandeep Singh Chib was unanimously elected as cashier. The elections were held through secret in presence of advocates and judicial officers. After the declaration of results, new team pledged to work with dedication and honesty for the betterment of their fraternity. Newly elected office bearers were garlanded by their supporters. |
