 Jammu, Dec 28: A one day awareness/demonstration programme held at Nagrota for the NCC Cadets of two (UT)J&K and (UT) Leh.
The programme was organized by Civil Defence, Jammu under the guidance of Sh. Muneer Ahmed Khan, IPS, Additional Director General of Police Homeguards/Civil Defence & UTDRF J&K-Jammu, Vikas Gupta, JKPS, SSP I/C DIG, HG/CD & UTDRF Jammu and under the supervision of Dy.SP Shashi Thakur, Dy. Controller Civil Defence, Jammu.
During the awareness camp, the knowledge of First Aid, CPR, chocking, emergency methods of rescue, firefighting along with demonstration was given to NCC Cadets Nagrota Jammu by the Civil Defence Instructors/Team.
While speaking on the occasion, Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu (Dy.SP),Shashi Thakur , Paramjit Kumar, Chief Warden and Thakur Ranjit Singh, Dy. Chief Warden highlighted the role of Civil Defence and also shares their views regarding the importance of first Aid, Rescue Techniques, Do’s and Don’ts during manmade/natural disaster.
R.G.Patal Commanding Officer (Brigadier) of NCC Cadet and other senior officers of NCC Cadets appreciated the role of Civil Defence and thanked the Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu and her team for organizing one day awareness programme. The programme was attended by 400 NCC Cadets of UT J&K and UT Leh & Staff members also of NCC cadets at Nagrota Jammu. |
