| Pensioners rue official apathy, seek release of pension | | |  Early Times Report
Medhar, Jan 5: Pensioners of various categories including handicapped, old age and widows have rued official apathy for not releasing their pensioner dues for the last several months putting them to hardships.
Pensioners of various categories have been running from pillar to post for release of pension which has not been released for the last several months by the social welfare department for the reasons best known to them, a pensioner said.
Pensioners in a joint appeal have urged the district authorities to release their dues before the Eid festival as they have been going through constant financial crises, they added. |
