AAPcondemns mob attack at Nankana Sahib | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 5: Aam Aadmi Party J&K has strongly condemned the mob attack on holy Gurdwara of Nankana Sahib in Pakistan and termed it religious intolerance on the part of fundamentalist forces. They termed the incident as highly shameful & mischievous on the part of Pakistan. They held the Pakistan government responsible for its failure to restrain and control such elements which trigger tension between the two countries. The AAP-J&K urged upon the Pakistani government to ensure the safety and security of religious places of minorities in that country as the attack has hurt the sentiments not only of Sikh community all over the world but to the communities of other religious as well. The J&K-AAP has urged upon the Indian government to exert pressure on its sub-continent by employing its diplomatic approach to expose the deep-rooted conspiracy behind the act, saying it was condemnable act on the part of certain divisive forces, out to spreading communal poison among the minority living in Pakistan. The Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan should order an inquiry into the incident to send out a strong message across the sub-continent that no mischief-monger could harm the minority communities in Pakistan. |
