Srinagar, Jan 6: Despite rain and snow, the national highway, only road connecting Kashmir valley with the rest of the country, was so far open and traffic will ply from Jammu to Srinagar on Monday.
The 434-km-long Srinagar-Leh national highway, the only road connecting Union Territory (UT) Ladakh with Kashmir valley, remained closed for the past 27 days on Monday due to accumulation of snow and slippery condition
