DDC reviews progress of various development works at Gandoh

DODA, Jan 10: The District Development Commissioner Doda, Dr Sagar D Doifode visited the snow bound area of the Gandoh sub division of Doda district and took a review meeting of the key departments regarding various ongoing developmental projects and implementation of Central Sponsored Schemes of various departments.
He also inaugurated the control room established in SDM office Gandoh and reviewed the snow clearance work and other essential services.
The DDC was apprised by the SDM that the established control room will function 24X7 under the supervision of Naib Tehsildar Gandoh for the registration of the grievances and locals can register their grievances by dialing a number i.e 9906587302.
While reviewing the PDD sector, DDC issued directions issued to the concerned authorities to provide uninterrupted power supply during the schedule time besides directed to conduct intensive checking and seize the appliances which are cause of overload on the Transformers.
The DDC also directed the Executive Engineer R&B to ensure the maintenance of the roads, clearance of the slides and blacktopping of road especially from the Malikpura to Gandoh Gwari.
While reviewing the PMGSY projects, the DDC directed the SDM to take weekly reviews and ensure that approved projects shall be completed under the set timelines.
The authorities of health sector was directed to generate more awareness regarding health insurance schemes at grassroot level like Ayushman Bharat to enroll the leftout beneficiaries under the aforementioned scheme, to conduct screening of every school children under RBSK and to ensure that the children screened shall also get the case sheet, to organise more health check-up camps in these far flung areas, besides the social welfare department was also directed to conduct more awareness camps regarding benefits of all the CSS social security schemes and to start the pension to pending cases under various heads at earliest.
The DDC interacted with the locals and said that the four blocks of this sub division are going to be cover under Jal Jeevan Mission after which every household will get tap water facility in the first phase.
He also informed that a control room 24X7 has been established in the premises of DC office and individuals can register their grievances by dialling toll free numbers i.e 9906320997 &18001807122 and also directs the concerned to give wide publicity to these numbers.
He also met with several deputation's, listened to their grievances patiently and ensure that the redressal of their genuine demands shall be done with utmost priority.
