RAMBAN, Jan 10: District Legal Services Authority Ramban under the Chairmanship of Principal District & Session Judge, Ramban, Kishore Kumar today carried out a plantation drive at Karol Kundi area of Ramban in collaboration with the Forest Department to improve green cover in the district.
Secretary District Legal Services Authority, Ramban, Amit Sharma alongwith Range Officer, Parshotam Lal Parihar besides other staff members, PLVs of District Legal Services Authority and local people took part in the drive.
During the plantation drive more than 500 saplings of different species including Silver Oak, Bamboo, Reatha, Sheesham, Drankh and Cheer etc were planted.
On the occasion, Chairman DSLA stressed upon the participants as well as others to plant more trees in their areas to save environment. |
