Early Times Report

Jammu, Jan 10: BJP senior leaders & former MLCs Ashok Khajuria, Adv. Ramesh Arora, S. Charanjit Singh Khalsa, Ch. Vikram Randhawa and Girdhari Lal Raina slammed the Congress for trying to spread falsehood about the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) for narrow political gains at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
Former MLCs also appealed the members of civil society to come and collectively support the rally to be organized by common masses of Jammu region on 12th January as the various public forums of Jammu are jointly organizing a mega rally in the favour of CAA.
Ashok Khajuria, while briefing the media, denounced the hatred and violence on the name of CAA being spread in the Nation on the directions of Congress. He said that the residents of "Anand Bhawan" have done harm to the Nation in every major decision in the entire history and Congress leaders are still in that rat race as they repeat all the words exactly dictated by Pakistan from across the Indian border.
Ramesh Arora, said that Congress has disgraced the Indian Parliament
He also criticized Baig and said that democracy was thrown to winds by the previous leaders by their counterparts.
Arora, questioned that when any person can easily take refuge in the Nation of their religion, where the Congress thinks that Hindus, Sikhs or other minorities of those Nations can think to go to take shelter? "These Nations were part of India in the past and in due time upon division the non-Muslim minorities living there were exterminated near to extinction!" he said.
Vikram Randhawa said that CAA is framed to grant citizenship and not to take it away. He said that this act cannot harm any Indian citizen from any community in any case. Khalsa, said that CAA is well thought, drafted and balanced Act. He questioned that the where the minorities living in Islamist Nation can take refuge to save their lives. He attacked Congress for doing politics on the name of CAA and said that its Act is dangerous for the integrity of Nation as it tries to repeat partition of Nation as in 1947.
Girdhari Lal Raina, said that this whole planned occurrence of protests composed of well thought acts of violence was never the opposition of CAA but it is the act of burning the country on the directions of anti-Indian agencies which is silently being supported and promoted by Congress and its allies.
