| Kishtwar administration reviews preparedness on Corona virus | | | Early Times Report
KISHTWAR, Jan 30: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kishtwar Angrez Singh Rana today convened a meeting of officers and doctors to review the preparedness to prevent the outbreak of novel Corona virus.
During the meeting, Dy. CMO Kishtwar Dr. Mohd Fareed Butt gave a detail presentation regarding the preventive measures/steps taken to prevent the affect of Corona virus and the measures taken by the health department to tackle the cases if any in the district.
He further apprised the DC that a control room has been established at District HQ. (CMO Office Kishtwar) besides that a rapid response team in this regard has been already constituted and isolation ward has been established at District Hospital Kishtwar.
He added that orientation programme has been organized today at CMO Office Kishtwar for All BMOs and Asha workers wherein they were sensitized about the symptoms, causes and precautions of the novel corona virus.
DC calls for generating mass awareness regarding the novel corona virus among common masses besides directed health and Asha workers to
sensitize the PRIs regarding symptoms of the virus and precautions to be taken to prevent the outbreak of the disease.
Among others, ASP Kishtwar Nasir Ahmed, Dy. CMO Kishtwar Dr. Mohd Fareed Butt, XEN Hydraulic Division Kishtwar, I/C Medical Superintendent DH Kishtwar, EO Municipality Kishtwar, CAHO, DSHO, DTO Kishtwar, Nodal Officer ISM, Doctors besides other concerned officers were present in the meeting. |
