| JSS Kathua participates in Road Safety awareness rally | | |  Early Times Report
Kathua, Jan 30: Motor Vehicle Department Kathua today organized a Road Safety Awareness Rally/ Walkathon to celebrate 31st Road Safety week being observed from 11th January to 17th January 2020.
Students from various government schools ,colleges of Kathua, NCC cadets, volunteers from NGOs and students of Jammu Sanskriti School participated in the rally, which was flagged off by,Chief Guest O P Bhagat Deputy Commissioner along with Shridhar Patil, SSP Kathua ,who was also the guest of honour on the occasion from Govt. College for Women where a program was also organized to sensitize students through various means to make the roads safer and common people more responsible .
Students of Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua participated energetically and enthusiastically. They made their presence felt by carrying placards and banners on road safety traffic rules,thereby sensitising the common masses and delivering their duty as future citizens most responsibly. The slogan for 31st Road Safety Week is ‘Sadak Suraksha, Jeevan Raksha’ . The rally after passing through main areas of the town culminated at Kathua Govt. Degree College.
