Jammu, Jan 30: To commemorate the 550th Parkash Utsav of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, S. Gurdeep Singh Sasan Chairman J&K Children’s Welfare Society organized a press conference at Amar Singh Club Jammu to illuminate the mankind regarding Guru Ji’s Shabad “Why Call Her Bad Who Gives Birth To Great Kings”. On this Gurdeep Singh Sasan Chairman children’s Welfare Society as a tribute to Guru Ji released calendar. Addressing the media persons Sasan strongly condemned the menace of female feticide and advocated that female gender discrimination is one of the greatest cruel, barbaric crime against humanity and if this heinous act is not stopped right now the crime against women will drastically increase and that is what is happening now in our country, which is very charming. Sasan reminded about importance of family system of our great country, he said that these days our family system that epitomizes the sacred cultural heritage seems to be disintegrating and that there is dire need for comprehensive and immense efforts to sustain the lively and value based nature of our family system so it is important to inculcate sanaskars and imparting value & values for society, religious and educational course in the new generations.
He said that parents are the privol in our family system so he appealed to parents to educate their boys to respect the women hood and their human rights to move freely and safely any where any time.
