One killed, anothermissing, three injured in mishap

RAMBAN, Feb 4: A 32-year-old man was killed and three other injured after a Tractor was unloading a material and fell into a gorge along the Jammu-Srinagar highway in Ramban district on Monday night.
Reports reaching to Srinagar based news gathering agency said that the accident took place near Cafeteria Morh when the driver of the Tractor was unloading the mineral material into River Chinab. "The driver has lost control of the vehicle and plunged into 200 feet deep down," official sources said.
Official source said that five persons were also in the tractor while one among them died on spot, another is still missing and three other persons were critically injured and have been shifted to District Hospital Ramban for treatment.
The deceased has been identified as driver Altaf Ahmed son of Ghulam Hassan from Kanga Ramban.
The injured has been identified as Mohd Hanief son of Mohd Rustum from Neel Gagernag Banihal, Rafiq Ahmed son of Abdul Latief from Bhingara Banihal, Farooq Ahmed son of Bashir Ahmed from Bhingara Banihal and missing person is namely Mudasir Ahmed Bhat son of Abdul Rasheed Bhat from Hochak Banihal, a police official said. rescue operation is going on but still rescue team did not recovered missing person
A police officer of the concerned police station told that a case under relevant sections of law has been registered and further investigation has also been taken up.
