Mayor visits Peerkho

JAMMU, Feb 15: In order to review the better arrangements for devotes on the coming Maha Shivratri Festival falling on 21-02-2020, Chander Mohan Gupta Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation alongwith Rajesh Gupta Ex.MLA, Vinay Gupta Jammu District President BJP, Narotam Sharma, Gopal Gupta Councillors of Ward No.3 & 5 respectively Ravi Dass Ji Mahant of Peerkho Temple Prominent citizens of Jammu as well as devotees of Temple.
Staff of Engineering, Health, Electrical and other sections of JMC were also accompanied the Mayor during the tour. He directed all the officers to deploy more men and machinery on the ongoing development/renovation and face-lifting works in the enroute as well as in and around the whole complex of Peerkho temple as large number of devotees from Jammu and Kashmir visits this Holy and ancient temple to have Darshan of Baba Bhola Nath on the festival of Maha Shivratri.
He also reviews the proper Parking facilities of the vehicles and directed the Electrical Section to install more LED High Mask as well as street lights in all the left over route of the temple so that devotees may not suffer due to prevailing darkness. Later Mayor also visited Gujjar Nagar, and its surrounding areas of Ward No.6 along with Mohi-Ul-Din Chowdhary Councillor of the ward and reviews the ongoing development works of drain & lanes in the ward.
