| Authorities seize ultrasound centre at Kotranka | | |

RAJOURI, Feb 15: Government authorities on Saturday seized a private ultrasound center in Kotranka town of Rajouri over insufficient qualification of doctor who was operating it.
On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Mohammad Nazir Sheikh, a team of administration headed by Additional Deputy Commissioner Kotranka Surinder Mohan Sharma alongwith Chief Medical Officer Rajouri Dr. Sanjeev Puri, Block Medical Officer Kandi Dr. Iqbal Malik and assisted by police paid surprise inspection in a private ultrasound center M/S BN Ultrasound center in Kotranka town.
During inspection of record and manpower, it was found that center is being run in violation of Rule 3(1)(b) of PCPNDT Act 1994 and doctor operation it was having insufficient qualification.
Taking note of it, team seized the said center while a report have been submitted to higher authorities for further action. |
