| DLSA Kathua organises legal awareness programme | | |

Kathua, Feb 15: A legal awareness programme was organised by Secretary District Legal Service Authority under guidance of Pawan Dev Kotwal Chairman District legal service Authority (Pr. District &session Judge ) Kathua at Sub Jail Hiranagar.
All the barracks of the jail, wet canteen, kitchens, store rooms were inspected and interaction was made by secretary District legal service authority Kathua with jail inmates. A total of 159 inmates are lodged in the jail. At the time of visit chairman Tehsil legal service committee Hiranagar Retainer lawyers Para legal volunteers of tehsil legal services Committee Hiranagar were present. During the visit secretary District legal service Authority Kathua observed that all the jail Barracks and kitchen attached were found neat & clean and no complaints was reviewed with regard to the quality of food etc. An interaction was made with under trial / convicts and their problems were noted . It was directed by the Secretary DLSA Kathua that whenever required immediate redressal measures be undertaken. |
