Early Times Report

Vijaypur, Feb 22: Tractors and trolley owners today staged protest demonstration in front of Tehsil Office Ramgarh, demanding lifting of ban on extraction of construction material.
Led by National Panthers Party (NPP) senior leader Yash Pal Sharma, the protesters assembled in the front of Tehsil Officer Ramgarh and staged protest. Yash Pal Sharma told that earning source of the border area has already been vanished due to the unprecedented rainfall as the paddy crops has been damaged and wheat crops could not sown by the farmers.
“The ban on the minor minerals has wreaked havoc over their livelihood. Now it becomes difficult for the tractors/trolleys owners to refund the instalments of tractor loan”, Sharma said.
The Tehsildar Ramgarh said that he would allow the tractor/trolleys owners to lift the minerals from agriculture land but he could not allow them to lift the soil from nallah till the final decisions of higher authorities.
The protestors said that if the administration will not lift the ban then they will be compelled to launch agitation at large. The other who were present in the protest included Yogesh Kumar, Ravi Dutt Sharma, Mohinder Singh, Om Parkash, Suram Chand, Gurdeep Singh etc.
