JKTJAC demands resolution of teaching fraternity' issues | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Feb 22: Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Joint Action Committee (JKTJAC) has appealed the Jammu and Kashmir administration to resolve all genuine and long pending issues of teachers. In a press statement JKTJAC General Secretary Saleem Sagar said, "The government has assured the JKTJAC that legitimate demands of teachers are under consideration, but the continuous delay in the resolution of teacher related issues is leading to increase the miseries of teachers." The General Secretary JKTJAC demanded early redressal of various issues including the issue of left out cases of grade II teachers and grade lll teachers who either had some minor adverse cases or had the issue of overlapping cases of degrees. He appealed the administration that the process of issuance of orders in favour of them should be started without any further delay as they are working without salaries from last one year and are facing various hardships due to financial constraints. He also raised the issue of the transfer policy for regularised Rehbar-e-Taleem Teachers - including Teacher grade II, Teacher Grade III, Third Teachers and Normal regularised Rehbar-e-Taleem Teachers. Who are unnecessarily kept debarred from the transfer and are working at their first places of postings from the time of their appointment. They appealed LG to consider their demands without any further delay. |
