Want normal political activity to resume in J&K: Ram Madhav
2/23/2020 7:50:23 PM
Jammu , Feb 23

BJP National General Secretary Ram Madhav on Sunday said that all the people in his party want the situation in Jammu and Kashmir to become conducive for normal political activity to resume, reported newsagency

“Keeping the situation of J-K in mind, the government has invoked certain Sections for the detention of some leaders there. As the situation improves and things normalise, everybody will be allowed to do their political activity. We are all wanting the situation in Jammu and Kashmir to become so very conducive for normal political activity to resume,” ANI quoted Madhav as having said

Madhav was reacting to Defence Minister Rajnath Singh’s recent statement to a media organisation in which the latter said that he was praying for the early release of three former chief ministers of Jammu and Kashmir from their detention, reported ANI.

Earlier, reports said that Ram Madhav held secret talks with former finance minister Altaf Bukhari.

Reports quoted sources as having said that Ram Madhav accompanied by SM Sahai besides a team of Ministry of Home affairs arrived Srinagar on Friday and directly went to Gulmarg where they held talks with former PDP leader Altaf Bukhari.
